He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irma Miller and Russel Thomas Miller; his children, Kristin (Daniel), Sally (Bob), Thomas (Jill) and Benjamin (Mary); his grandchildren, Michael, Sattva, Sarah, Spring, Hattie, True, Samuel and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Sophie, Jaxon and Ruhi; his wife Pat; his grandson Zuben; and his close friend Marge O'Laughlin. He was also cherished by father for his children.
