He was predeceased by : his parents, Willie Martin and Eula C. Martin. He is survived by : his wife Jean; his children, Vickie L. Davis, Melanie L. Martin-Terrell (Warren), Rachel A. Martin and William P. Martin (Lacey); his sisters, Queen Eva Rowe and Clematine Jones; and his grandchildren, Rashida Davis, Michael R. Davis, Mathew A. Davis, Jourdyn A. Terrell, Jazz A. Terrell, Tinley R. Martin, Paisley K. Martin and Parker W. Martin.
