She was loved and cherished by many people including: her siblings, Fred, Alvin, Teressa, Emmett, Dorothy, Vernetta and Morris Jones; her father Thomas Griffin (Ethel Griffin-Lockhart); her friend Wilma; her husband William Tibbs; her children, Shawn Allison (Darlene) of Charlotte, NC and Pamela Allison of Indianapolis, IN; her brother Lonnie Griffin (Bennett) of Chicago, IL; her grandsons, Shawn Allison II and Aaron Allison of Charlotte, NC; her nephews, David Jones and Jeffery Jones; her cousins, Thelma Richardson, Elaine Dugger and Kim Lander-Rowe; and her extended family, Janean Smith and Karen Sails. She was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
