She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Morris and Dewy Morris; her siblings, Maryann Posley, Mattie Moore, Margie Williams, Charles Morris, James Thomas and Willie Morris Jr.; and her son Glenn Elmore.

She is survived by: her sisters, Marvolean Alexander and Carolyn Morris; and her children, Imogene Elmore, Rose Elmore, Ramsey L. Elmore, Cynthia Jude, Derrick Elmore and Dana Howard. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members, and close friends.
