She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Schuetter and Lucille Schuetter (Morgenroth); her husband Preceding; and her brother Don Schuetter. She is survived by: her children, Duane Hopf of Jasper, IN, Darren Hopf of Otwell, IN, Cindy Simpson (Jimmy Dean) of Crossville, TN and Christine Martin (Jon) of Indianapolis, IN; her grandchildren, Craig (Jessica), Robert Abbott (Kayla), Alicia Elmore (Cody), Jon (Anne), Zach, Mariah Martin and Janis Monroe (Marcus); and her siblings, Doris Stemle of Celestine, IN, Ray Schuetter (Evelyn) and David Schuetter (Annette) of Schnellville, IN. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (2829 N 500 W, Jasper, IN 47546). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Becher & Kluesner Funeral Home - Downtown (214 E 7th St, Jasper, IN 47546).
