It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilfred L. Gress of Ireland, Indiana, who passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Gress and Margaret Gress (Lampert); his wife Helen C. Begle; his siblings, Clara Mae Braunecker, Naomi Gress, Richard, Virgil and Lee Albert Gress; and his daughter-in-law Karen Gress.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Vogt (Mike), Steve Gress (Becky), Terry Gress (Susan), Mike Gress (Debbie), Ken Gress (Jami), Jasper, Dave Gress (Marilyn) and Dan Gress (Molly); his sisters, Mitz Lanham of Plainfield, IN and Diane Buechlein (Gene) of Fishers, IN; Judy Gress.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Vincent de Paul, or a favorite charity.
