She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorvall D. Hedge and Edith A. Hedge (Ragsdale); her husband George R. Benge; her son Douglas R. Benge; her daughter-in-law Terry Lynn Benge; her grandson Chad Benge; and her siblings, Delbert Hedge, William Hedge, Thelma Wheat, Majorie Henry and Ethel Ross.
She is survived by: her children, David M. Benge of Lebanon, Daniel L. Benge of Lebanon and Teresa Steelsmith (Gregory) of Lebanon; and her brother Jimmy Hedge. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jamestown Christian Church (900 N Lebanon St, Jamestown, IN 46147). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
