She was predeceased by: her parents, Luie Engle and Cora Engle; her sisters, Viola Bartley and Doris Fields; her parents-in-law, Francis Nadine Smith and Ermine Dewey Smith, Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Ritchardson and Michael "Mick" Smith.

She is survived by: her husband Danny; her daughter Brittany Koontz (James) of Lebanon, IN; her grandchildren, Kaleb and Ryleigh; her brothers, Earl Engle (late Madeline) of Corbin, KY, Carl Engle (late Ethel) of South Rockwood, MI, Lee Engle (Sharon) of Tilton, IL, James Engle (Brenda) of Lebanon, IN, Paul Engle (Barbara) of Odessa, TX and David Engle (Diana) of Hendersonville, TN; and her siblings-in-law, Dennis Smith of Lisbon, ME, Terry Smith (Linda) of Advance, IN and Sharon Spears (Fred Long) of Jamestown, IN..
