He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey VanHorn and Goldie M. VanHorn (Bickard); his wife Jean VanHorn; his daughter Diane VanHorn; and his brothers, Charles VanHorn and Donnie VanHorn.
He is survived by: his sons, Bill VanHorn (Mary) of Jasonville, IN and Mike VanHorn (Lorinda) of Jasonville, IN; and his grandchildren, Mike Jr., Tad, Danielle and Chris. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
