With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Albert T. Astrike of Jasper, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Albert left this world on July 17, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Astrike and Hilda Astrike (Bretz); his half-siblings, William Astrike Jr. and Mabel Krodel; and his brother-in-law Bud Potter.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Astrike; his siblings, James Astrike (Kathy) of Noblesville, Edward Astrike of Indianapolis and Lucinda Freihaut of Boonville; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Potter of Jasper, Mary Alice Zink (Rod) of Ferdinand, Ann Metzger (Paul) of Louisville and Edward Helming (Connie) of Birdseye. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Becher Funeral Home, Inc. (625 Main St, Ferdinand, IN 47532). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Dubois St. Peter's United Church of Christ or a favorite charity.
