He was predeceased by : his parents, John Edward and Kate Lorraine Kemker (Perkins); his son Michael Kemker; and his brothers, John E. Kemker and Dr. Francis J. Kemker.
He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Sue Kemker; his children, Dr. Susan Kemker (Alvin Pam), Kate Kemker (Kaaren Fox), Dr. Bernard Kemker Jr. (Janice), David Kemker (Diane), Dr. Stephen Kemker (Kalen Carty) and Ken Kemker (Audrey); his daughter-in-law Denise Kemker; and his stepdaughters, Diane Denk (Richard), Patricia Welp, Rebecca Schepers and Jennifer Schepers. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Stephen Ministry of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center, or Northwood Good Samaritan Retirement Community.
