She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Laake and Amelia Laake (Ebert); and her brothers, David and Patrick Laake. She is survived by: her husband Harvey Berger; her daughters, Jane Betz (Tom), Ann Theil (John) and Karen Tabor (Jeff); her grandchildren, Kyle Betz (Meredith), Ryan Betz (Demi), Adam Betz, Elizabeth Begle (Caleb), Grant Theil, Caroline Theil, Luke Tabor and Sam Tabor; and her siblings, Dennis Laake (Kathy) and Eileen Wright. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Becher & Kluesner Funeral Home - Downtown (214 E 7th St, Jasper, IN 47546). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (1029 Kundeck St, Jasper, IN 47546). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (1020 Kundeck St, Jasper, IN 47546).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or a favorite charity.
