With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Brenda K. Highsmith of Jasper, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Brenda left this world on May 24, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Bud" Dedrick and Yvonne Dedrick (Shelton); her son Brandon Giesler; and her stepdaughter Sheila Highsmith. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Greg Highsmith of Jasper; her children, Brad Giesler of Santa Claus, IN and Jana Fontanez; her stepchildren, Kami Tester (Jason) of Fishers, IN and Kyle Highsmith of Ireland, IN; her granddaughters, Sophia, Olivia Fontanez, Ava and Emerie Tester; and her sisters, Faye Bussell (Jack) of Sparta, TN and Deb Goodness (Greg).
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1029 Kundeck St, Jasper, IN 47546). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at the Shiloh Cemetery (4060 W Shiloh Rd, Jasper, IN 47546).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Dubois Co. Humane Society, Special Olympics, or a favorite charity.
