He is survived by: his children, Janet Butler (Michael) of Jasper, Connie Eckert of Ferdinand, Charlie, Jr. Blessinger (Agnes) of Huntingburg and Sandra Ahlemeier (Robert) of Ferdinand; his stepson Terry Zehr; his sisters, Agnes Cooper of Shoals and Caroline "Susie" Stemle of Huntingburg; his grandchildren, Chad Butler (Eric), Crystal Bratton (Mitch), Travis Butler (Mindy), Angella Rees (Matt), Adam Blessinger (Ashley), Kyla Eckert, Cody Blessinger (Ryan), Collin Ahlemeier and Natalie Durcholz (Dylan); and his great grandchildren, Androulla, Wrigley, Lincoln, Gavin, Renner, Addison, Liam, Reuben, Shepherd, Cooper, Max, Emma and Wyatt.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nass & Son Funeral Home (208 Main St, Huntingburg, IN 47542). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (317 N Washington St, Huntingburg, IN 47542).
