He was predeceased by : his parents, Alois Haas and Mary Ann Haas (Jerger); his sister Marilyn Vinson; and his nephew Phillip Haas. He is survived by : his wife Carol Thyen of Jasper; his children, Lisa Schultheis (Don), Laura Otto (Kent) and Lance Haas of Jasper; his grandchildren, Taylor Coburn (Jermaine), Adam Schultheis (Hailey), Matt Schultheis, Genova Schultheis, Spencer Otto (Lauren) and Reagan Otto; and his siblings, Anne Waddell (Robert), Sylvia Bullock (Phil), Larry Haas (Pat) and Tony Haas (Sharon).

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
