She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilbert Mendel and Norvada Mendel (Morton); her husband John Toby; her children, Johnny Ermert and Jeanette Emmons; her grandson Ryan Emmons; her sisters, Shirley Hasenour (Bill) and Carolyn Lindauer (Bernie); and her brother-in-law Eddie Mundy.
She is survived by: her sons, Eric Toby (Lindsey Maymon) of Jasper, IN and Jeff Ermert (Missy) of Paoli, IN; her son-in-law David Emmons of West Baden, IN; her granddaughters, Amanda Emmons-Busick and Kayla Livingston; and her sisters, Mary Mundy of Jasper, IN, Rose Englert (Sylvan) of Ferdinand, IN and Kathy Mattingly (Steve) of Lincoln City, IN.. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Becher & Kluesner Funeral Home - North (3221 N Newton St, Jasper, IN 47546). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 at the St. Anthony Cemetery.
