Edwin F. Fischer Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Fischer and Catherine Fischer (Schaefer); his wife Preceding; his son Mike Fischer; and his siblings, Maryetta Mendel, Otto "Ots", Hubert "Hubie" and James Fischer.

He is survived by: his children, Brenda Wirthwein (Bernie) of Huntingburg, IN and Steve Fischer (Sally) of Jasper, IN; Cora Fischer of Bristow, IN.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 11 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (2829 N 500 W, Jasper, IN 47546). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at the Enlow Cemetery (220 Brucke Strasse, Jasper, IN 47546).

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dubois County Humane Society.
