She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold V. Castro and Sarah J. Vazquez Castro-Nasta; her husband Frank C. Sterling; and her brother Arnold Castro. She is survived by: her daughter Carmen Sterling of Velpen, IN; her grandsons, Jeffrey F. Decker (Nadine) of Washington, IN and James G. Decker of Nashville, TN; and her pets, Luna and Callie.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jasper Moose Lodge (2507 N Newton St, Jasper, IN 47546).
