He was predeceased by : his parents, Cyril Birge and Antoinette Kunkel Birge; his son Mick Birge; and his brother Bill. He is survived by : his wife Maggie Birge; his children, Joe Birge (Jill), Joan Little (Dan Wilhite), Marlene Cocchetto (Alan), Marilyn Scherer (Doug), Marcia Birge and Jennifer Birge; his daughter-in-law Starlene; his grandchildren, Adam Birge (Rachael), David, Antoinette Birge, Kathy Osborne (David), Amanda Green, Andy Kemp (Beth), Tyler Birge (Allie), Lauren Birge, Jessica Spanogle (Jesse), Nicholas Cocchetto, Julia Gargas (R. J.), Allison Scherer and Jordan Rhodes; his great grandchildren, Ty, Felix Birge, Emily, Megan, Abigail Osborne, Layla Brown, Jayce, Jonas Green, Charlie Kemp, Sophie, Bella, Maddie and Francis Spanogle; and his siblings, Jim Birge (Donna), John Birge (Lisa), Bob Birge (Barb), Judy Calley (Bob), Jane Birge, Betty Anderson (Rick) and Kathy Eckerle (Curtis Shaw). He is also survived by numerous nieces and great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews, and cousins.
