She was predeceased by: her parents, Ysidoro Galindo and Marta Galindo (Silva); and her siblings, Rosa Gavara, Sylvia Galindo, Grace Maldonado and Mario Galindo.

She is survived by: her husband Patrick Sermersheim of Jasper; her daughters, Benita Beckman (Daniel) and Tracey Sermersheim (Bill Martin); her grandchildren, Miranda Combs, Carmilla Bradley, Nicholas Combs, Taras Beckman and Brandon Bradley; her great grandchildren, Luca James Bradley and Mason Knies; and her brother Leo Galindo (Yolanda).
