He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Urban Eckert and Lillian Eckert (Armstrong); his children, Jamie Eckert of Huntingburg, IN and Maria Eckert (Tony Farrell) of Huntingburg, IN; his stepson Tony Benton (Brittany) of Jasper, IN; his grandchildren, Brayden, Nevaeh, Sophia, Jazmine, Farrah, Kingston, Jonah, Lala, Elmonth and Pacey; his siblings, Sue Vonderheide of Jasper, IN, Rich Eckert (Jeannie) of Ireland, IN and Keith Eckert (Sheila) of Ireland, IN; and his siblings-in-law, Terry Vonderheide and Kelli Eckert.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or the Dubois County Humane Society.
