We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2025, at the age of 87, Jerome H. Vaal (Jasper, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Vaal and Marietta Vaal (Wiederkehr); his wife Marcella "Sally" Lampert; and his sisters, Dorothy Mae "Toots", Bettye Lou Greulich (Leroy) and Barbara Susanna Bennett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Grimme (Joe) of Indianapolis, IN, Beverley Buckley (Mike) of Glendale, AZ, Carmen Shalda (Lou) of Rockford, MI, Lori Smallwood (Mike) of Greenwood, IN and Kellie Coykendall (Dan) of Middleville, MI..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (950 Church Ave, Jasper, IN 47546). A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, St. Vincent de Paul, or to a favorite charity.
