We announce the death of Joan L. Harris of Jasper, Indiana, who passed away on July 25, 2026, at the age of 84. Joan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Joan will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Joan’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonse Boeglin and Hilda Boeglin (Hedinger); her husband Robert, Sr.; her son Robert Harris, Jr.; and her brother Leroy Boeglin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Volz of Dale, Judy Meyer of Jasper and Mary E. "Beth" Bruce (Rick) of Princeton. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
