She was predeceased by : her parents, William Dudine and Margaret Dudine (Grenough); her siblings, Agnes Keene, Marilyn Woodruff, William F. Dudine Jr. and David Dudine; and her granddaughter Sally Hurlbut.

She is survived by : her sons, Don Hoffman (Sandy) of Arlington Heights, IL, Howard Hoffman (Mary Anne) of Indianapolis, IN and Mike Hoffman (Cheryl) of Jasper, IN; and her sister Mary Elise Schaaf of Michigan City, IN.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation in Joan's honor can do so to their favorite charity or to the Precious Blood Catholic Church Endowment.
