He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert August and Esther August (Sutterlin); and his sister Emily Neyer. He is survived by: his siblings, Deborah (John), Karen Wyatt (Marc) of Greenfield, IN, Kim Hester (Tom) of Fleetwood, NC, Steven August (Anita) of Norfolk, VA and David August (Tracy) of Goshen, IN. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, and five great nieces and nephews.
