He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Neukam and Arletha Neukam (Sturgeon); his wife Preceding; his daughter Rebecca Neukam; and his siblings, Murele Ahrens, Joyce Dedrick and Carl Neukam.

He is survived by: his children, June Shimer, Mary Jo Messmer, Doris Messmer, Chrissy Phillips (William), Ray Neukam, Jasper, John Neukam (Kristie) and Charlie Neukam (Rhonda); James Neukam. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Precious Blood Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
