He was predeceased by: his parents, Urban Mehringer and Helen Mehringer (Mehringer); and his siblings, Janice "Dolly" Sermersheim, Robert Mehringer (Anna Mae) and Russell Mehringer.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Mehringer of Jasper, IN; his daughters, Audrey Doty (Charles) of Jasper, IN and Gwen Mehringer of Dubois, IN; his grandchildren, Melanie Sermersheim (Jeremy), Jesse Doty (Kim) and Chance Mehringer; his great grandchildren, Ella, Lydie Sermersheim, Olivia and Reid Doty; his sisters, LaVerne Hochgesang of Jasper, IN, Betty Bonifer of Jasper, IN, Lynn Kalb (Morris) of Dubois, IN and Geri Wendholt (Gary) of Ferdinand, IN; and his brother-in-law Robert "Bob" Sermersheim of Jasper, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper or to the wishes of family.
