He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Heichelbech and Rosemary Heichelbech (Ahrens); his brother Kerry D. Heichelbech; his niece Bridget Brinkman; and his half-sister Delores Hall.

He is survived by: his significant other Curly Helming; his siblings, Cheryl Heichelbech of Jasper, IN, Kenneth "Hank" Heichelbech of Jasper, IN and Gary Heichelbech (Bonnie) of Lexington, SC; and his sister-in-law Susie Heichelbech of Jasper, IN. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
