LaVerne M. McCord Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LaVerne M. McCord of Jasper, Indiana, who passed away on October 22, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Kraft and Ardella Kraft (Morgenworth); her son Jay Allen McCord; her son-in-law Jeff Scott; and her brothers, Kenneth Kraft and Dennis "Butts" Kraft (Karen).
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula McCord of Jasper, IN and Sandra Harder of Jasper, IN; her grandson Jay Harder (Beth); her great grandchild Andrew Harder; and her sister-in-law Mary Lee Kraft of Jasper, IN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Becher & Kluesner Funeral Home - North (3221 N Newton St, Jasper, IN 47546). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at the Alfordsville Cemetery.
