Lawrence E. Mehringer Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Mehringer and Eugenia Mehringer (Sermersheim); his grandson Tristan Mehringer; his brother Kurt Mehringer; and his brothers-in-law, Denny Beck and Dean Slade.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Mehringer of Jasper, IN; his children, Brian Mehringer (Angie) of Huntingburg, IN and Shelly West (John) of Yorktown, IN; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Samuel Mehringer, Jackson, Lane and Caden West; and his siblings, Patty Beck of Ireland, IN, Donna Slade of Georgia, Connie Gutzweiler (Joe) of Newburgh, IN, Steve Mehringer (Paula) of Georgia, Duane Mehringer of Jasper, IN, Karen Neuhoff (Tom), Mark Mehringer of Jasper, IN and Debbie Mehringer of Jasper, IN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (950 Church Ave, Jasper, IN 47546). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at the Shiloh Cemetery (4060 W Shiloh Rd, Jasper, IN 47546).

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, the Dubois County Food Bank, or to the American Red Cross.
