Lena L. Seitz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena L. Seitz (Jasper, Indiana), who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Hemmerlein and Katherine Hemmerlein (Goller); her former husband John Seitz Jr.; her husband Nelson Seitz; her sons-in-law, Kenneth Schwartz and Larry Sherill; her foster son Donald Johnson; and her grandsons, Rodney Schwartz and Randy Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Schwartz (Kenneth) of Sevierville, TN; her foster children, Elizabeth Sherill of Princeton, KY and Lonnie Volz (Annie) of Orlando, FL; her stepdaughter Rosemary Emerson (Bill) of Nortonville, KY; and her sister Frances Seitz. She is also survived by grandchildren, step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or to the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper, Indiana.
