He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Pieper and Rosa Pieper (Heichelbech); his wife Geraldine M. "Geri" Pieper of Joseph's Catholic Church; his siblings, Henry, Ed, Al Pieper, Anna Marie Reyling and Veronica "Sis" Meinking; and his son-in-law Carl Burns.
He is survived by : his children, Kathy Ring (Dave) of Huntingburg, IN, Jan Pieper of Louisville, KY, Marilyn Doyle (Jeff) of Amelia, OH, Beth Gentry (Dennis) of Ireland, IN, Julie Burns of Jasper, IN, Lori Mundy (John) of Huntingburg, IN and Don Pieper (Marcia) of Webster, TX.. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren, 16 Great- Grandchildren, five step Grandchildren, 13 step Great-Grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, Heart to Heart Hospice, the Northwood Retirement Community or to a favorite charity.
