It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis J. Mehringer of Jasper, Indiana, who passed away on May 16, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lewis J. Mehringer to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his siblings, Delmar, Alvin, Bernard, Eugene, Robert, Norbert, William Mehringer, Virginia Jochem, Mary Lou Hohl, Helen Mehringer, Dorothy Rees, Leona Seng and Marcella Mehringer.

He is survived by : his children, Pam Sergesketter (Ron), Terri Eckerle (Roger), Todd Mehringer (Laurie) of Jasper, IN and Russ Mehringer (Gail) of Jasper, IN; his grandchildren, Danelle Balbach, Justin Mehringer, Troy Sergesketter, Kayla Walters, Cassie Guth, Cori Collinsworth, Alexis Mehringer and Grace Mehringer; and his sister-in-law Virginia Mehringer of Jasper, IN.. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, five step great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Precious Blood Catholic Church or to the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center.
