It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois J. Oxley of Jasper, Indiana, who passed away on December 14, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lois departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lois may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lois leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Borho and Anna Borho (Scherle); her husband Thurman R. Oxley; and her siblings, Edward Bohro and Mary Ann Holle.
She is survived by: her children, Janet L. Schultheis (Tom) of Jasper, IN and John Oxley (Lynn) of Roswell, GA.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial contributions can be made to Precious Blood Catholic Church or to the Sisters of St. Benedict, in Ferdinand, Indiana.
