She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Street and Myrtle Street (Abel); her husband Preceding; her daughter Sheila Schmitt; her son-in-law Fred Gehlhausen; and her siblings, Norma Lee Daily, Marjorie Divine, Carolyn Fox, Catherine Roy, Keith and Donald Street.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Weisheit (Peggy) of Cuzco, IN, Cindy Gehlhausen of Huntingburg, IN, Dwayne Weisheit (Tracey) of Jasper, IN, Darren Weisheit (Tonya) of Jasper, IN and Kevin Weisheit (Audrey) of Jasper, IN; Bernice Burress (Paul) of Marshall, IL.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, five great- great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (556 W Haysville Rd, Jasper, IN 47546). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or to a favorite charity.
