Mary Ann Bawel Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Mary Ann Bawel of Jasper, Indiana. Mary Ann, born on December 14, 1932, passed away on August 21, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Ann Bawel to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Witte and Evelyn Witte (Mayfield); her husband Ray Bawel; and her son Jeffrey Bawel. She is survived by: her sons, Doug Bawel (Suellen), Brad Bawel (Sara) and Zach Bawel (Linda); her daughter-in-law Beth Bawel (Jasper); and her siblings, Bud Witte, Mike Witte and Nancy DeLuca. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 36 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Trinity United Church of Christ (310 W 8th St, Jasper, IN 47546). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at the Fairview Cemetery (1020 Kundeck St, Jasper, IN 47546).
