He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan James and Clarice James (Etienne); his daughter Dawn Mullen; his brothers, Bernard and Linus James (Sheila); and his brother-in-law Jerome Schepers.
He is survived by: his wife Betty James; his children, Chris James (Trina), Diane Sturgeon (Brian), Anita Borden (Patrick) and Brian James (Caryn); his son-in-law Mike Mullen; his siblings, Janet Schepers and Roland James (Janet); his sister-in-law Pat James; his grandchildren, Trevor, Tristan James, Brooke Ingram (Cory), Wyatt Sturgeon (Audrey), Bre Sturgeon (Bryce Cross), Taylor Brinckman (Ryan), Paige Cross (Zach), Reese Borden (Kaelyn Luker), Ella Borden and Emily Sprinkle; and his great grandchildren, Grant, Warner Ingram, Cecilia Sturgeon, Diane, Cason and Rowan Cross.
Memorial contributions may be made to Old Chapel Cemetery where a private burial will take place.
