With solemn reverence, we commemorate Patricia A. Mathies of Jasper, Indiana, whose life came to an end on October 17, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Stenftenagel and Elenora Stenftenagel (Lechner); her husband Delbert C. Mathies; and her siblings, Dorothy Oeding, Caroline Mehringer, Ruth Ann Beck, Ann Mae Hopf, Lucas, Joe and Felix "Jim" Stenftenagel.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Hildenbrand (David), Pam Seibert (Brian), Lori Voges (Kevin), Doug Mathies (Jeana) and David Mathies (Babette); her grandchildren, Zachery Zehr, Jordan Mathies, Michaela Chumbley, Tiffany Sweet, Amanda Hodges, Cameron, Courtland, Brayden, Landon Betz, Whitney Edmister, Hayley Olinger, Logan and Mackenzie Mathies; her great grandchildren, Kyler, Halle, Micah, Reese, Lucy, Charlie, Ali, Nolan, Kai, Grant, Zoe and Presley; and her siblings, Mary Schitter, Lucille Recker and Richard Stenftenagel (Helen). She is also survived by her family and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Precious Blood Catholic Church (1385 W 6th St, Jasper, IN 47546). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (1020 Kundeck St, Jasper, IN 47546).
Memorial contributions may be made to Precious Blood Catholic Church, Trotter House Lifeline Family Center, or to the wishes of the family.
