He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Bartley and Rose Marie Bartley (Schlachter); his son-in-law Gary Knust; and his siblings, Carol Phelps and Stan Bartley.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Blume of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Dianne Bartley of Jasper, IN, Becky Knust of Jasper, IN, Cathy Meiring (Dan) of Newburgh, IN, Ronald Bartley of Newburgh, IN and Gary Bartley (Dawn) of Jasper, IN; his grandchildren, Chayna Bartley, Eric Meiring, Tyler Meiring, Andy Knust and Amy Newberg; and his stepgrandson Doug Meiring.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1029 Kundeck St, Jasper, IN 47546). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (1029 Kundeck St, Jasper, IN 47546). An entombment will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (1020 Kundeck St, Jasper, IN 47546).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, to the Monastery of the Immaculate Conception, or to a favorite charity.
