He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mehling and Theresa Mehling (Braunecker); and his siblings, Elsie Selby (Gene) and Robert Mehling (Phyllis). He is survived by: his wife Elfrieda Vonderheide of Jasper, IN; and his son Jeff Mehling of Jasper, IN.
