She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jr. Hayes and Virginia Hayes (Garlick); and her brother Edward G. Hayes. She is survived by: her husband Carl Bauer of Jasper, IN; her children, Randy Bauer (Jane) of Celestine, IN and Suzanne Sermersheim (Craig) of Jasper, IN; her grandchildren, Evan Bauer (Rebekah), Alex Bauer (Hannah), Averi Bauer, Erika Turpin (Solomon Asiedu), Kaleb Turpin, Aidan Sermersheim and Anna Sermersheim; her great grandchild Grace Bauer; her brothers, Jim Hayes (Carol) of Richmond, VA and Stewart W. Hayes of Trinidad, CO; and her sister-in-law Susanne K. Hayes of Raleigh, NC.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (556 W Haysville Rd, Jasper, IN 47546). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or to a favorite charity.
