He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernard Kunz and Valdena Kunz (Love); his wife Maxine Gogel of Heichelbech's Restaurant; and his siblings, Deb Mendel, Vivian Seng and Kent Kunz.

He is survived by : his sons, Curt Kunz (Becky) and Steve Kunz; his grandchildren, Austin Kunz, Celestine and Elizabeth Cline (Zach); his great grandchild Charlotte Kunz; and his siblings, Mary Jo Dippel (Jack), Sharon Loughmiller (Mark), Karen Smith and Gerald "Jets" Kunz (Linda).
