He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor J. Schnell and Henrietta C. Schnell (Persohn); his son-in-law Jim F. Harris, Jr.; and his sister Shirley Olinger (Jim). He is survived by: his wife Aurea "Ann" Schnell of Jasper, IN; his daughters, Sheila Eckert (Keith) of Ireland, IN and Susan Schnell of Jasper, IN; his grandsons, Tyler, Jacob Bartley, Nick and Alex Persohn; his stepgrandsons, Kurt Eckert (Kelsey) and Kyle Eckert (Amber); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jaelynn, Baylor, Kelli and Sophie Eckert.
