He was predeceased by : his parents, Owen Mullen and Edith Mullen (Stroud); his wife Thelma Pauline Arbuckle; and his sister Norma Allen. He is survived by : his children, Paula Brunnemer (Mike), Dale Mullen (Brenda), Nelson Mullen and Tim Mullen (Ruth); and his brother Densile Mullen (Peggy). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
