He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Striegel and Anna Striegel (Knies); his siblings, Mary "Mae" Hasenour, Lucille Wigand, Robert, Edward and Kenneth Striegel; and his nieces and nephews, Nancy Friedman, Judy Atwood, Allen Hasenour, Roger Wigand, Joe Buechlein and Scott Striegel.
He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Burger of Jasper, IN, Lorraine Buechlein of Jasper, IN and Gloria Williams of Ooltewah, TN. He is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews, and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Parish Will Pray. Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (1029 Kundeck St, Jasper, IN 47546). A burial was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (1020 Kundeck St, Jasper, IN 47546).
