He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Hardin and Karen Kay Wilbert; his brother Richard Hardin; and his grandmother Elizabeth "Granny Liz" Wilbert. He is survived by: his wife Ashley Hardin; his daughter Brittany Gatewood (Dustin); and his siblings, Cody Hardin, Stephanie Hardin, Hannah Pitt and Gotti.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Legacy Funeral Center - Schoppenhorst Chapel (1832 W Market St, Louisville, KY 40203). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 23rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
