She was predeceased by: her husband John Clipp; her parents, Phema Grills Jones and John G. Jones; and her siblings, Thelma Jones, Ethel Mills, Effie Day, Hazel Randolph, Garnett, Clifton, Clofus, Grover, Arnold, Otis, Shelby and Ernest Jones.
She is survived by: her sister Flora J. Cooper of Greensboro. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Bessie's honor to Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles, Indiana.
