He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Durrett and Hazel Durrett. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Laraine Durrett; his daughter Kimberly Bowles (Greg); his grandchildren, Amber Anderson (John), Mandy Grider (Sid), Anna Silva (Joshua), Samuel Bowles (Angel) and Zachary Bowles; and his siblings, Earl Durrett Jr. (Evelyn) of New Hampshire, Shirley Durrett of Kentucky and Brenda Larson of Maine. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
BJ's contributions to both his country and his field were significant and left a lasting impact.
