He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Varney and Minnie Varney; his wife Carol Varney; his daughter Lynn Wilson; and his sister Vicky Miles.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Bernhart and Teresa Ridgeway (Dale); his grandchildren, Mark, Chris Meyer, CJ Herndon, Ashley Fox (Donna) of Jessica Armstrong, DJ and Mary Stamper; and his siblings, Margaret Varney, Whitley "Tubby" and Randall Varney (Jean). He is also survived by many cousins, friends.
