He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Michael Hessig, James Howard, Chris Howard and Vivian Broy. He is survived by: his parents, Gary Sears (Angie) and Vivian Lee Alexander; his children, Audrienna Smith, Jordan Smith, Hailie Burk and Lorelai Hill; his siblings, Gary Sears, Jr. (Lakenda), Shawnna Hessig and Bethany Hartsfield (Brent); his grandmother Jackie Hessig; and his aunt Mary Hessig.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
